Communicate to Grow Your Practice

Sep 29th, 2009

Have you ever asked a patient why they missed an appointment only to have them say "I thought we set that up for NEXT Tuesday"?  Or, Have you ever asked someone about something they were supposed to send you only to have them say "I thought I mailed (or emailed) that already.  I'll check and make sure it goes out right away"?

True or not, in both cases your communication, a simple reminder, prompted action.  If you had not asked you might never have seen action taken.  Don't be inactive when it comes to generating revenue growth for your practice.  If you are not already actively sending out patient appointment reminders or general communication then you should be doing so in order to promote the proactive health maintenance of your patient population as well as the revenue growth of your practice.

If yours is like many well run practices you are already doing this in some form.  If so, how much time does your staff spend tracking, preparing and sending such materials?  What else could they be doing during that time that is more critical to the practice that day?

To free up time for you and your staff while still maintaining a successful and cost-effective patient follow-up campaign see how we can assist you in growing your practice revenue.
